Andrew Pantling (born 1983 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a professional Canadian poker player and entrepreneur .

Personal

Pantling is the CEO of the sports betting website Matchbook.com . He lives in Malta .

Poker career

Pantling plays on the online poker platforms PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker under the nickname ClockWyze . Since 2007 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

In mid-April 2009, Pantling took third place at the main event of the Irish Poker Open in Dublin and received more than 200,000 euros in prize money. The end of June 2009 he was the first time in the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and died in a tournament variant No-Limit Hold'em in the money. At the end of April 2010, Pantling prevailed at a heads-up event played on the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Monte-Carlo and secured a prize of 120,000 euros. In September 2010, he finished second in a World Series of Poker Europe tournament in London and a few days later took eleventh place in the main event of the series, which earned him prize money equivalent to almost 250,000 US dollars . In May 2013, Pantling reached the final table at the EPT main event in Monte-Carlo and, after losing heads-up to Steve O'Dwyer, finished second, endowed with 842,000 euros. In mid-October 2016, Pantling was invited by Guy Laliberté to the Big One for One Drop Extravaganza , an exclusive poker tournament in Monte-Carlo with a buy-in of one million euros. There he reached the final table and for his sixth place received his highest prize money to date of 1.5 million euros. At the end of February 2019, Pantling sat at the final table of the Main Event of the World Poker Tour in Niagara Falls and finished third, which was paid for the equivalent of around 175,000 US dollars.

In total, Pantling has earned more than four million dollars with poker in live tournaments.
