Karel Maria Polydoor "Pol" de Mont (born April 15, 1857 in Wambeek near Brussels , †  June 29, 1931 in Berlin ) was a Flemish poet.

Pol de Mont studied law at the Catholic University of Leuven . He then worked as a teacher at the Koninklijk Atheneum in Antwerp . He became co-editor of De Vlaamse Gids magazine . In 1904 de Mont was appointed director of the Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp . In 1919 he had to resign from this post because he was one of the Flemish activists during the First World War . Until 1923 he was editor-in-chief of the newspaper De Schelde .

Pol de Mont was married to Maria Joanna Jozefine van der Hulst.
