Remodeling in Edwardian times

In Edwardian times , Mrs. Ronald Greville was a well-known hostess in political circles. The redesign she carried out in 1906 now gives the house and gardens the character of a spacious country estate at the beginning of the 20th century. Her extensive collection of paintings, furniture, porcelain and silver can be seen in the extensively renovated interiors.

The property includes a 5.6 km² property with meadows and walking paths. Mrs. Greville converted the walled, former kitchen garden into a rose garden, which is followed by other garden rooms enclosed by yew trees.
