Polina Seronossowa (born January 22, 1993 ) is a Belarusian and former Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Seronossowa started in Krasnogorsk for the first time in November 2011 in the cross-country skiing Eastern Europe Cup and came in 97th place and 78th place in the sprint. In the 2015/16 season she finished 11th in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. With the second place over 10 km in Krasnogorsk, she achieved her first podium in the Eastern Europe Cup. After switching from the Russian team to the Belarusian team in November 2016, she made her debut as Belarusian in the 2016/17 season in the Cross-Country World Cup on December 10, 2016 . In the freestyle race over 15 kilometers in Davos , she finished 59th. She collected her first World Cup points on February 3, 2017 in Pyeongchang . In the classic sprint she took 23rd place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti she came 52nd place over 10 km classic, 41st place in the sprint and 11th place together with Julija Tichonowa in the team sprint. Her best placings at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang were 40th place in the 30 km mass start race and 14th place in the relay.
