The Grupa Kapitałowa Polindus Sp. Is a holding company in which different companies of the Polish dairy industry are bundled. The holding company is one of the largest milk processors in Poland and the country's largest producer and exporter of dry milk . In 2012, with a turnover of 583 million zlotys, it was ranked 383 in the Polityka list of the 500 largest Polish companies . In 2011, sales are said to have been around EUR 150 million zloty. In 2013, 620 employees generated a turnover of around 250 million euros. Today the group includes companies such as Laktopol , Laktopol-A , Laktopol International , Franser and Polindus ex Monts de Joux . These companies are used to produce or purchase raw materials, pre-production stages, final production and national and international marketing.

history

The company's history began on August 29, 1989 with the establishment of Polindus Sp. Z oo , which had a production facility in Bosutów near Kraków . Here, in one division, high storage racks were manufactured for customers such as Géant , Auchan or Carrefour , and in another, imported casein was processed and exported.

On July 4, 1995, a majority stake in the PPHU Laktopol Sp. Z oo dairy was taken over. In 2000 the company MITEX in Łosice was taken over , which later renamed Laktopol-A . Butter and milk powder are made here. The Stadnina Koni Moszna stud was also acquired in 2000 . Herds of cows are kept here. In 2005 the group grew around the French milk processors Des Monts De Joux ( Bannans ) and Franser . On December 30, 2005, the group also took over the Przedsiębiorstwo Przetwórstwa Blach Bistyp , a metalworking company , from the Polish state treasury . In 2009 one of the most modern drying towers in Europe for milk powder production was inaugurated. With this system, the daily capacity of the group in milk powder production increased to 170 tons.
