Pollhöfen is a district of the municipality Ummern in the Gifhorn district in Lower Saxony .

On March 1, 1973, the municipality of Pollhöfen was incorporated into the municipality of Ummern. On March 1, 1974, Pollhöfen moved from the district of Celle to the district of Gifhorn through the "Law on the Reorganization of the Communities in the Gifhorn Area" .

Pollhöfen, where around 300 residents live, has a village community center. The cemetery, on which the war memorial is also located, is supported by the community of Wesendorf . The music barn Pollhöfen offers bands a platform for performances. The school no longer exists, the only restaurant (Postkrug, Inh. Just) was closed in 1992. There are no shopping opportunities for daily needs in Pollhöfen. Club life, with the exception of the volunteer fire brigade founded in 1935 and the rural people, takes place predominantly together with Ummern, including in the Kyffhäuser-Kameradschaft Ummern-Pollhöfen e. V. A bus line operated by the Gifhorn transport company runs from Pollhöfen to Groß Oesingen , Ummern, Wahrenholz and Wesendorf . Evangelical Lutheran residents belong to the parish in Hohne , Catholics belong to the Church of the Assumption of Mary (Wesendorf) .
