Takumi Murashima (born October 1, 1995 ) is a Japanese middle-distance and obstacle runner .

Athletic career

Takumi Murashima gained his first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2014 in Taipei , where he won the silver medal in the obstacle course in 9: 03.35 min. In 2018 he took part in the 800-meter run at the Asian Games in Jakarta , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round with a time of 1: 48.86 minutes. The following year he finished sixth at the Asian Championships in Doha in 1: 52.32 minutes.
