The Pollux nunatak is an island-like nunatak of up to 110 m in height off the North Skjöld coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 3 km northwest of Robertson Island in the Seal Island group .
Its existence was suspected by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1947 and confirmed in 1953. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1957 in connection with the 7 km south-southwest located Castor-Nunatak after the Dioscuri Castor and Pollux from Greek mythology .
