Rosemarie Fiedler-Winter (* 1921 in Dresden ; † November 19, 2012 in Hamburg ) was a German business journalist, author and long-time chairwoman of the Hamburg authors' association.

Live and act

Fiedler-Winter studied economics in Cologne, then went on extensive trips and established herself as a freelance journalist. On behalf of various publishers such as Burda and the Frankfurter Societät, she wrote reports in South America and the Mediterranean region. As the first German journalist, she was able to interview Eva Perón .

She took up residence in Hamburg and made articles mainly on economic topics for Deutschlandfunk , Norddeutscher Rundfunk , and Bavarian Broadcasting . She was one of the co-founders of the Hamburg Business Journalists Club , was part of the board there and published several books, especially on the subjects of personnel policy, leadership and idea management. Her book Angels Need Hard Hands / The Work of Significant Women , which portrayed female managers in social areas, received special media attention .

From 1977 to 1993 she was chairwoman of the Hamburg authors' association, took care of collective bargaining issues and public relations, organized literary readings, literary trips, book publications and award ceremonies. In 2005 she received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for this voluntary commitment. Siegfried Lenz gave the laudation for the award ceremony in the Catholic Academy .

Rosemarie Fiedler-Winter died at the age of 91 in November 2012 in Hamburg. She was buried in the Nienstedten cemetery.
