Polish Lord
Polnord SA is a Polish real estate development company based in Warsaw . The company has been listed on the stock exchange since 1999 and specialized in the construction of residential complexes in the early 2010s. Polnord has been developing the Miasteczko Wilanów district of Warsaw since 2007 .
history
The company was founded in 1977 as a general contractor for projects abroad and initially operated under the name of Biuro Generalnego Wykonawcy Eksportu "Północ" . Construction projects were mainly carried out in Germany. In 1988 the company name was changed to Polnord . In the following years, Polnord worked both as a developer and as a general contractor. On February 22, 1999, the company went public on the Warsaw Stock Exchange . From 2007 onwards, some projects were also implemented abroad, such as residential complexes in Novosibirsk and Saratov . Also in 2007 the general contractor business was transferred to the Polish company Pol-Aqua ; Since then, Polnord has only worked as a developer. In the following year, Polnord took over Prokom Investments' undeveloped land (more precisely: lease rights) in Miasteczko Wilanów - in return, Prokom Investments received shares in Polnord . Since 2012, Polnord has focused only on residential projects and is mainly active in Warsaw, Tricity , Olsztyn , Stettin , Łódź and Wroclaw .
