Polyxo (nurse of the Hypsipyle)
Polyxo ( Greek Πολυξώ ) is the wet nurse and friend of Queen Hypsipyle of Lemnos in Greek mythology . After their husbands were murdered, she moved the islanders to be friendly with the Argonauts in order to be able to have offspring again.
With Gaius Valerius Flaccus she is a prophetess.
