Pomortsev is an impact crater on the eastern edge of the front of the moon on the eastern edge of Mare Spumans , southwest of Dubyago crater . To the north is the smaller Stewart crater .
The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the Russian rocket pioneer Mikhail Mikhailovich Pomorzew . Previously, he was as Dubyago P referred.
