Pond Ridge (English for pond ridge ) is a rocky and flattened mountain ridge in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Jones Mountains, it extends north from Mount Loweth .
The team from the University of Minnesota , which explored the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961, named it after a small pond on the ridge .
