Pongsakorn Takum played for third division JL Chiangmai United FC in Chiangmai until the end of 2018 . Where he played before is unknown. With the club he became champion of the upper region of the Thai League 3 in 2018 and thus rose to the second division . After promotion, he left the club and joined the second division club Rayong FC from Rayong . With the club, he was third in the table in 2019 and thus rose to the top division . For Rayong he was on the field 24 times in the promotion season.
