The Porsche Club Deutschland e. V. (PCD for short) is the umbrella organization of the German Porsche Clubs. The PCD's task is to hold national events, coordinate cooperation with Porsche and offer the members of all regional clubs joint services. Every member of the regional Porsche Club is automatically a member of the umbrella organization.
The Porsche Club Deutschland has been a cooperation partner of ADAC eV and a member of the German Motorsport Association - DMSB since 2005 . Partners such as Michelin support the association with motorsport issues, driver safety training and other event formats.
The oldest Porsche Club, PC Westfalen eV, was founded in 1952. In 1953 the Porsche Club Köln eV, the Württemberg Porsche Club, the Porsche Club von Niedersachsen eV and the PC Berlin were added. PC Württemberg, PC Schwaben and PC Länderdreieck have been organizing motorsport events such as the Euro Trophy since 1976. Today the PCD has 98 regional member clubs in Germany with a total of around 8,000 members (as of March 2020). The seat of the association is Stuttgart .
Events in the field of driver safety training and motorsport
The Porsche Club Deutschland e. V. offers the following events for the regional Porsche Clubs:

- Porsche Club Historic Challenge
Driving safety training
When Fahrsicherheitstraining the goal is to improve the personal safety driving skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. The German Porsche Clubs organize these events for their members. The training courses take place in driving safety centers, on circuits or in off-road areas.
Porsche slalom
The sporting offer with the lowest costs and effort begins with the slalom competitions of the Porsche Clubs according to the DMSB approved PCD regulations. Participants start with their own vehicle and road tires.
PCD Club Cup & PCC Long Distance
The Porsche Club Cup (PCC) is an event that gives club members the opportunity to drive their own vehicles on a racetrack as part of a driver safety training course. The PCD Club Cup with Histo rating and the PCC long distance are the common platform for individual club events and are used exclusively for popular sport. The PCC is positioned between the sports driving school and the Porsche Sports Cup. Each participant has the opportunity to drive on a circuit for around two to three hours.
Porsche Sports Cup
The Porsche Sports Cup (PSC) was announced for the first time in 2005. The participants can start there at various motorsport events. The program includes a regularity test, sprint races and a long distance race. In 2015 the series internationalized.
Porsche Club Historic Challenge
The Porsche Club Historic Challenge (PCHC) is an international racing series of the Porsche Club Germany. The participating vehicles must be historic Porsche vehicles.
Events of supraregional Porsche Club meetings
The supraregional events in Germany are organized by regional Porsche Clubs in cooperation with the umbrella organization, the PCD. The Porsche Club Deutschlandtreffen , which is always held in other regions of the country, is an integral part of the event calendar . The PCD Germany meeting, which takes place every two years, offers interesting activities for every starter. Many historic and rare vehicles from the Porsche brand are exhibited at the Concours D'Elegance.
In addition to specially organized events, the Porsche Club Deutschland e. V. intensively at regional club events such as Porsche meetings or trade fair appearances .
The highlight of all social Porsche events is the so-called Porsche Parade , which was first held in Stuttgart in 1982. The concept has evolved over the years and is currently being held under the name Europa Parade . It is held every two years in different countries.
