The Porsche Junior 4 (technical name: Porsche 108-4 ) was a tractor from Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH , which was based in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The Porsche Junior 4 was produced in 1958 with a number of 150 copies.
The Porsche Junior 4 tractor belonged to the second improved generation of the 1-cylinder and was largely identical to the Junior K. These models were also produced in a short and a long version, with a difference of only 15 cm for the wheelbase and the Length and fraud. The Porsche Diesel Junior 4 was next to a generator from Bosch and an inside shoe brake , already, an electric starter and a gear handbrake fitted. As an option, the Porsche tractor could also be ordered with a three- or four-point suspension of the Gotec-390 type. An air-cooled 1-cylinder diesel engine with an innovative 4-stroke - cyclone technology brought it to a power of 14 hp and a top speed of up to 20 h km / . The engine was rounded off by the double-bearing crankshaft , an oil bath air filter and an injection system from Bosch.
After production of the Junior 4 was discontinued after only 150 copies, the Austrian company Hofherr-Schrantz acquired the license to be able to continue producing the Junior 4 model at a lower speed .
