Port Kawkas

Port Kawkas ( Russian Порт Кавказ ; translated roughly "Caucasus port") is a small port on the eastern, Caucasian side of the Kerch Strait , on the Chushka peninsula , which in turn belongs to the Taman Peninsula in the Krasnodar region. The port was built in 1953. On the opposite Crimean peninsula is the city of Kerch , to which there is also a ferry connection as part of the European route 97 .
