Porterbrook Leasing Company Ltd , based in Derby (Derbyshire), is one of the three major leasing companies for railway vehicles in Great Britain, which as part of the privatization of British Rail in 1996 took over the locomotives , railcars and multiple units and rented them out to the railway companies (so-called rolling stock companies or Roscos ).

Porterbrook was a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Abbey National from 2000 to 2008; After the purchase of Abbey National by the Spanish Banco Santander , the company was taken over by a consortium of financial investors (including Antin Infrastructure, Deutsche Bank and OP Trust).
