Postenje ( Cyrillic : Постење) is a village in western Serbia , near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina .
Geography and population
The village is located in the Ljubovija Opština , in the Okrug Mačva . The place had 383 inhabitants at the 2002 census, compared to 493 inhabitants in 1991. According to the last three population statistics, the population of Postenje continues to fall. 99% of the population are Serbs . In addition, three Yugoslavs live in the village . The village consists of 116 households.
Postenje is located on the Trešnjica River . The place is located south of the municipal capital Ljubovija .
