The Pottsiepen is a 1.5 km long orographic left tributary of the Möhne in Rüthen , Germany, in North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

The brook rises about 4.5 km southeast of Rüthen on the northwest flank of the Drei-Rehhagen-Köpfe at an altitude of 390  m above sea level. NN . It flows primarily in a northerly direction through an unpopulated valley and flows out about 1.9 km northwest of Heidberg at 312  m above sea level. NN in the Möhne .

With a height difference of 78 meters between the source and the mouth, the mean bed slope is 52 ‰. The approximately 55.5 hectare catchment area is drained to the North Sea via the Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine .
