The Praassee is a lake in the area of the municipality Dobbertin in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The approximately three hectare large body of water lies on the south bank of the Woseriner See , to which it is connected by a ditch. Praassee, located on the western edge of the Kläden nature reserve, can be reached via a hiking trail that branches off from federal road 192, which runs south between Kläden and Neu Woserin . The bank areas are difficult to access due to the surrounding reed belt, other vegetative growth and swampy subsoil.
The Praassee is surrounded by deciduous forest, in the east there are steep slopes with a beech population that is under nature protection. It is a terminal moraine from the Pomeranian stage of the Vistula Ice Age .
