Prabir Ghosh
Prabir Ghosh ( Bengali : প্রবীর ঘোষ , Prabīr Ghoṣ ; born March 1, 1945 in West Bengal ) is an Indian author and civil rights activist who campaigns against faith and for science. He is the head of the Science and Rationalists' Association of India (Bharatiya Bigyan O Yuktibadi Samiti) in Kolkata .
Life
Ghosh grew up in a religious family in Kharagpur and Adra . He advocates rationalism . He achieved fame through a bet in India. In it he offers 2 million Indian rupees to those who claim to have supernatural abilities and who can prove this.
