Pragoimex Vario LF
The Pragoimex VarioLF are a family of low-floor tram cars . The company Pragoimex is a Czech successor company ČKD Tatra .
development
Based on the replacement car body VarCB3 , with which vehicles of the Tatra T3 type were modernized, the company Krnovské opravny a strojírny (KOS) developed the car body VarCB3LF (LF = l ow f loor = low-floor). This car body is about one meter longer and has a low-floor section between the bogies.
The first vehicles with the new car body were two prototypes for Ostrava in 2004 . On the basis of the car body VarCB3LF , prototypes of two- and three-part articulated wagons , which are referred to as VarioLF2 and VarioLF3, were also created from 2006 . The latest development is the prototype of a three-part bidirectional trolley called the VarioLF3 / 2. According to the manufacturer's brochure, the VarioLF2 / 2, VarioLF4 and VarioLF4 / 2 also belong to the portfolio .
Types
T3R.PLF
The T3R.PLF is the embodiment which is the classic Tatra T3 most similar, as the head and tail modules the same as for the T3-modernization variants T3R.EV or T3R.PV are. Cars of this type are therefore only a T3 modernization variant and not new buildings. In 2008, the first T3R.SLF car was delivered to Pilsen , which has a control system from Škoda in order to be able to couple the vehicles with the Tatra T3, which has been modernized by Škoda. He has the "Progress" electrical equipment from Cegelec .
