Pranas Kuconis
Pranas Kuconis (born June 6, 1961 in Kaišiadorys Rajon , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian lawyer and criminalist , former constitutional judge .
Life
In 1984 Pranas Kuconis graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree . From 1984 to 1986 he was a university professor and lecturer in criminal procedural law , judicial institutions and criminology . From 1991 to 1993 he was an interrogator in the interrogation department of the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior, from 1993 to 1997 head of the subdivision in the Lietuvos teismo ekspertizės institutas , deputy director and director, from December 1997 a judge in the Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas and from 2008 to 2017 a judge in the Konstitucinis Teismas .
Kuconis is a co-author of the Commentary on the Lithuanian Criminal Procedure Code .
