Praxias painter
As Praxias painter is one Etruscan vase painter of the pseudo-style red-figure referred.
The Praxias painter belonged to a group of vase painters named after him as their main representative, the Praxias group , which probably had its workshop in Vulci and produced abdominal amphorae , neck amphorae , stamnoi , pelicas , kraters , hydrias , jugs and single-handled kantharoi . Inscriptions in Greek were found on four vessels assigned to the Praxias painter , which is why some scholars consider the artist to be a Greek who emigrated to Etruria . The painter's works date to the second quarter of the 5th century BC. Dated.
