Francesco Stefani
Francesco Stefani , alternatively Franz Stefani, (born January 25, 1923 in Offenburg , † November 11, 1989 in Munich ) was a film director.
Life
Stefani lived in the Federal Republic of Germany and worked primarily on children's film productions in the 1950s. He became known with the film The Singing, Sounding Tree , for which he directed as a guest at DEFA ( GDR ). From 1964 to 1988 he worked as a director and editor for Bavarian television.
In 1980 he received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon, and in 1983 the Bavarian Order of Merit .
