Predrag Pašić (born October 18, 1958 in Sarajevo , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav football player .

Club level careers

He played from the 1975/76 season in the first Yugoslav league for FK Sarajevo , where he made 203 league games (44 goals) by 1985. As an accurate striker, he played a significant role in the 1979/80 runner-up, reaching the cup final in 1983 and winning the title in 1985. He then moved to VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga . For VfB he made 46 premier league appearances by 1987, but was only able to partially meet the expectations placed on him with just seven goals in two seasons. He then moved to TSV 1860 Munich in the Bayern League (then the third highest division). In the 1987/88 season he came there to four games (one goal). Today Pašić is Technical Director at FK Sarajevo.

National team career

Between 1981 and 1985 Pašić came on ten missions (one goal) for the Yugoslav national football team . He was also appointed to the squad for the Soccer World Cup in 1982 , but was not used there.

Éric Cantona hosted a documentary film that was aired on Arte in 2012 under the name Rebels am Ball . This documentary also sheds light on the commitment of Pašić, who founded a multi-ethnic football school in Sarajevo to bring warring groups closer together.
