Abderrahman Machraoui

Abderrahman Machraoui (* 1948 in Figuig ) is a German cardiologist .

The native Moroccan studied medicine in Marburg and Heidelberg ( dissertation in Heidelberg on the topic of autonomic adenoma , 1973). Machraoui trained as a cardiologist in Rotenburg an der Fulda , Bochum and Lille , and he also completed interventional training at clinics in Frankfurt am Main , Bad Oeynhausen , Berlin , Kansas City and Miami . As a senior consultant at the Department of Cardiology and Angiology, Bergmannsheil of the Ruhr University Bochum, Machraoui was significantly involved in the development and further development of the interventional cardiology there from 1984 to 1998. During this time he completed his habilitation (1989). In 1999 he followed a call to head physician at the medical clinic of the Diakonissenkrankenhaus Flensburg . This went hand in hand with his re-habilitation in Kiel . Abderrahman Machraoui has been retired since 2013. The avowed pacifist is still active in medical networks and is also socially involved. Most recently he developed a new method for lowering blood pressure.

Numerous publications in specialist journals with his scientific focus on coronary stenting , X-ray contrast media , cor pulmonale , but also book publications such as the standard work Applied internal standards: Diseases and clinical workflows for the smock pocket (2006).
