Peregrinus Foundation Prize
The Peregrinus Foundation Prize (Peregrinus Prize) is awarded every two years by the Bavarian Academy of Sciences to personalities who have made outstanding contributions by publishing works in the humanities that are also socio-politically relevant. The award, endowed with € 5,100, was entrusted to the Academy by Rudolf Meimberg (1912–2011). Meimberg was a professor of economics at the University of Mainz .
