The Premier League International Cup is an English football competition for European U23 teams. The competition has been held annually by the Premier League since the 2014/15 season .

The Premier League International Cup was held for the first time in the 2014/15 season. Twelve English and twelve other European teams have been taking part since the 2015/16 season. In the first run there were eight teams each. The English teams qualify according to their position in the English U23 league Premier League 2 . The European teams are invited by the Premier League . A group stage is played with a subsequent knockout mode.

The UEFA tried to prevent because it competes with the founding of the competition UEFA Youth League is. To get around this, all games are played in England, including the duels of the continental European teams. The winner will not receive any prize money. This is to ensure that the focus is on promoting young people.

The Manchester City U23 are so far the first and only English team to win the cup. In the 2018/19 season, the Bayern amateurs won the Premier League International Cup with a 2-0 win over the U23 from Dinamo Zagreb .

The most successful participant so far is FC Porto B, with two wins and one finals.
