As Presidential Palace of Tirana ( Albanian  also  PRESIDENCE and Pallati i Presidencës ) is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Albania called. It is located in the capital Tirana and serves primarily representative and protocol purposes.

The Presidenca is located on Bulevardi Dëshmorët e Kombit in the southern inner city of Tirana. The Pallati i Kongreseve is on the other side of the boulevard.

Construction

The official residence of the Albanian President consists of the three-story main building, to which an oval driveway from the boulevard leads from two entrance gates, and individual auxiliary buildings. There is a long fountain in front of the main entrance. There are gardens around the official seat.

history

The Presidenca was completed in 1960. It initially served as the Soviet embassy.

The building was declared a cultural monument of Albania in 2007.
