Later, his attention has been stressed by reggae and he settled by other reggae musicians like Capleton , Sizzla , Buju Banton and Anthony B influence. The strong support from his circle of friends also strongly influenced his decision to write and publish reggae songs himself. After a few small appearances in the USA and his homeland, he released his first album, From The Heart, as part of the band Star Lion Family in 2002 .

This was followed by a few more releases with the band until he decided to pursue a solo career and in 2005 released his first solo album, The Pressure Is On . After a moderate success of the album, the producer Don Corleon , one of the most successful Jamaican producers, noticed him and Pressure released his second album Love and Affection with him in 2007 . Also two years later he released his third album Coming Back For You . Since then there have been a few singles. He has also played at major European reggae festivals such as the Reggae Jam in Germany.

On February 25, 2012, Pressure was gunned down under unexplained circumstances in his parents' home in the Virgin Islands, but survived the attack.
