history
The parish was established on October 22, 1957 by a decree by Cardinal Vicar Clemente Micara . The church was built according to plans by Nello Ena and was completed in 1957. During a visit to the parish on October 17, 1993, Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass. On November 24, 2007, Pope Benedict raised the church to the title church.
