The Prilednikovoye Lake ( Russian Озеро Приледниковое Osero Prilednikovoje , German 'Vor-Gletscher-See' ) is a lake not far from the Princess Astrid coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 2 km south-south-west of Tyuleniy Point in the Schirmacher Oasis .
Participants in a Soviet Antarctic expedition, which also named it, mapped the lake in 1961. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated this name into English in 1970.
