Primm is a town in the Unincorporated Area in Clark County in the US state of Nevada . Primm is located on Interstate 15 and is the border town between Nevada and the US state of California . Primm consists of three hotels with casinos and a fashion outlet center. For the departing tourists from Las Vegas , this is the last chance to gamble before reaching California. Las Vegas is approximately 70 kilometers away.
Due to its location in the Mojave Desert , temperatures of up to 45 ° C are reached here in summer.
An internationally known attraction of Primm is the roller coaster Desperado at Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino. The track is 69 m high, 1781 m long, speeds up to 128 km / h and reaches accelerations of 4 g. Until 1996, Desperado was the tallest roller coaster in the world .

In 2004, Primm was the destination of the first DARPA Grand Challenge .
