The Prince of Wales Glacier is a 10 miles long glacier in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Queen Alexandra chain it flows mainly northwards between the Hochstein Ridge and the Komhyr Ridge to the Hamilton Glacier .
The northern group of a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after Charles, Prince of Wales (* 1948), eldest son of the British monarch Elizabeth II.
