architecture

The building is assigned to the Deutscher Werkbund . Architectural details are the structure of the pilaster strips , the profiled window frames , the bay window , the oculi and the valuable interior with staircase, wood paneling, carvings, fireplace and marble cladding:

“(...) On the street side, four axes structure the facade of what is now the three-story house. The high, horizontally structured base has three windows. Above that follows a pilaster structure. All windows have profiled frames. A bay window with ornamented parapets accentuates the second axis from the right. Two entrances open up the north facade. Okuli above the left and to the left illuminate the facade. The facade is otherwise closed except for four windows. In front of the rear is a porch with an exit. The house has a spacious staircase hall with a gallery. Wood paneling and carvings, fireplace and marble cladding in the entrance area testify to the high quality furnishings. "
