Priory (Genainville)

Genainville Priory

The priory in Genainville , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 13th century. The former priory on the Place de l'Église has been protected as a Monument historique since 1926 .

The ensemble of farm buildings was rebuilt in the 18th century. During the French Revolution , the priory was abolished and the buildings were confiscated by the state and later sold to private individuals.
