The Hofmann private brewery is a brewery in Pahres, a district of Gutenstetten in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Central Franconia . Together with other small breweries in the region, it is a member of the Aischgründer Bierstraße .

history

The brewery was founded in Pahres in 1663 and has been family-owned ever since. Until the first half of the 20th century, she only supplied customers from Pahres. When Friedrich Hofmann took over the business in 1956, steady growth began. Georg Hofmann has been the head of the brewery since 2000, which today is one of the largest breweries in West Central Franconia.

Products

The Hofmann brewery's product range includes 13 different types of beer, some of which are only available seasonally.

The Hopfengold 2011 received the Gold Medal of the European Beer Star in the category German style Pilsner.
