The Pro Patria Institute (PPI) ( Estonian : koolituskeskus Pro Patria) is an Estonian civil society organization based in Tallinn. It sees itself as a training center for political education and is affiliated with the Estonian conservative party Pro Patria and Res Publica Union (Isamaa ja Res Publica Liit). It thus fulfills similar tasks in Estonia as the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and also works closely with them.

The PPI was founded in 1995 by leading politicians from the Isamaa, the conservative Fatherland Party, such as Mart Laar , Matti Maasikas , Tiit Arge , Toivo Juergenson and Tõnis Lukas . The current chairman is the former Foreign Minister of Estonia, Trivimi Velliste .

The Pro Patria Institute is part of the EPP- affiliated " Center for European Studies " (CES).

Political education is at the center of the activities of the PPI. Sociopolitical issues are debated in seminars, conferences, round tables and discussions.
