Production mechanic textile
The textile production mechanic is a state-recognized training occupation according to the German Vocational Training Act .
Duration of training and structure
The training period to become a textile production mechanic is usually three years. The training takes place at the training company and vocational school .
Work areas
Textile production mechanics operate production machines and systems for the manufacture of textile products . They control the process sequence, maintain machines and systems and correct machine malfunctions. They check the quality of the goods produced, analyze templates, product features and create data carriers. Textile production mechanics find their jobs in weaving mills , spinning mills , in the knitted goods industry , the tufting and nonwovens industries . However, you can also work for automobile manufacturers, aerospace technology or medical technology.
