Professional Dreamers is the fifth studio album by the Swedish hip-hop group Looptroop Rockers , which was released in March 2011 via Bad Taste Records . It is the first album since CosM.IC's comeback and features guest appearances by Lisa Ekdahl , Gnucci Banana and Chords.
Album cover
The cover shows a sketch of a brain, which was colored in different colors . According to a text on the inside of the hinged double LP version, this is an image of a dreaming brain, the activities of which were displayed in color by a brain scanner.
criticism
The album was generally positively received by the trade press. However, the album is "not what everyone has been waiting for", according to the Juice , the artists are pursuing "a new sound design that is far more poppy and sounds more like Empire of the Sun than Pete Rock ". However, this is not necessarily seen as negative, but rather as a further development. Dani Fromm from laut.de praises the "multi-layered, at least a little melancholy beats" from producer Embee, which live from "sharp contrasts and the love of detail" and gives the album 4 out of 5 points.
