Project Bolzano

The Bozen project ( Italian : Noi Bolzano ) is a Bozen citizens' list with a basic eco-social orientation.

history

Project Bolzano is the oldest still active citizen list in Bolzano. On the occasion of the municipal council elections in 1995, several German and Italian-speaking Bolzano citizens' initiatives from the environmental and transport sectors came together and founded the list for all language groups. In the election on June 4, 1995, Evi Keifl and Rudi Benedikter were elected to the Bolzano municipal council, the latter was represented there for a total of 26 years. Project Bozen supported the respective mayoral candidate of the center-left alliance in the first round of all elections up to 2015 , from 1995–2005 Giovanni Salghetti Drioli and 2005–2015 Luigi Spagnolli . He resigned in September 2015. In spring 2016, the board of the citizens' list decided to support Norbert Lantschner in the early elections on May 8, 2016 . For this purpose, a separate list (Verdi-Grüne-Vërc / Project Bozen) was brought into being with the Bozen Greens .
