The Provinzial NordWest Lebensversicherung Aktiengesellschaft is the life insurance company of the Provinzial NordWest insurance group based in Kiel .

It emerged from the merger of the Westfälische Provinzial Lebensversicherung Aktiengesellschaft ( Münster ) and the Provinzial Nord Lebensversicherung AG (Kiel) in 2005. The Provinzial NordWest Lebensversicherung Aktiengesellschaft is a 100% subsidiary of the Provinzial NordWest Holding Aktiengesellschaft (Münster), with which a Control and profit and loss transfer agreement has been concluded. As property and casualty insurers include the Westphalian provincial insurance corporation (Munster), the Provincial North Brandkasse Aktiengesellschaft (Kiel) and the Hamburger Feuerkasse Versicherungs-AG ( Hamburg ) for the Group .

In 2014, premium income was around 2.1 billion euros.
