The Hubei Provincial Museum ( Chinese 湖北省 博物館 / 湖北省 博物馆 , Pinyin Húběishěng Bówùguăn ) is located in the provincial capital of Wuhan and is one of the so-called eight imposing museums in China outside of Beijing. In Hubei , the museum serves not only as the central collection, research and exhibition center, but also as the provincial institute of cultural heritage and archeology.
