Psychopunch are a Swedish punk 'n' roll band from Västerås .

history

In 1998 the band was formed from members of various punk , death metal and rock 'n' roll bands.

The band has now released eight albums, initially with the Swedish record label White Jazz Records (including Hellacopters and Gluecifer). In 2003 she wrote the theme song for the film Daily Dose with Back in the days . In 2004 they switched to the German label Silverdust Records , where they released their album Smashed on Arrival in June of the same year . In 2006 her album "Kamikaze Love Reducer" followed, also on Silverdust Records, which got very good reviews in magazines like Rock Hard or Metal Hammer . In January 2008 the album "Moonlight City" followed. The band also released numerous splits with other bands.

Psychopunch already played several times at Summer Breeze and twice at Wacken Open Air . In 2005 the band also played at the farewell festival "Vaya Con Tioz" of the band Böhse Onkelz and in 2008 and 2014 at the With Full Force .

In 2007, the first four albums (originally released by White Jazz Records ) were remastered and re-released between December 2007 and August 2008 with bonus CDs. The first album WAJAWAHWISD was expanded to include the unreleased demo 333 Half As Evil . With the second album Bursting Out Of Chucky's Town there are studio outtakes as well as singles and B-sides on the bonus CD, as on the bonus CD of the album Moonlight City . The other two albums, Original Scandinavian Superdudes and The Pleasure Kill , were also released in 2008 in a new form.

In June 2009 the album "Death By Misadventure" was released again as a limited double CD and double LP. In August 2010 the next studio album "The Last Goodbye" was released. In 2015 the last album " Sweet Baby Octane" was released
