Publications Mathématiques de l'IHÉS

The Publications Mathématiques de l'IHÉS is a peer-reviewed mathematical journal that has been published by IHES in collaboration with CNRS since 1959 and published by Springer Science + Business Media .

Not least because the IHES was the center of Alexander Grothendieck's school in the 1960s, many important mathematical essays were published there in French, English or German, with almost no use of German. Among other things, the famous Éléments de géométrie algébrique (EGA) appeared here . Currently there are 2 issues per year, previously one to five.

The Impact Factor was 3,500 in 2015, making it one of the leading mathematics journals worldwide. In terms of the impact factor, the journal was number 8 among mathematics journals in 2006 with 1,350.

The ISSN is 0073-8301.
