history
The place Puch is mentioned for the first time in the course of a donation between 855 and 875. The Catholic Expositurkirche St. Martin, a hall church with a steep saddle roof and southern choir flank tower dates back to the 15th century. Puch was the seat of a Hofmark that had been acquired by the Counts of Törring-Jettenbach around the middle of the 17th century along with eight other court brands in the area . The municipality of Puch, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, therefore belonged to the patrimonial court of the Counts of Törring-Jettenbach in Pörnbach until 1848 . Then these noble privileges were abolished in the course of the 1848 revolution . The municipality was incorporated into the municipality of Pörnbach on January 1, 1978 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
