Punta Alegre is a headland at the western end of Neny Island in Marguerite Bay off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula .
Argentine scientists named it after the pilot Carlos Alegre, who was involved in supply missions for the Orcadas station on Laurie Island in 1935 .
