Punta Hildegard is a headland on the north coast of Kopaitic Island in the Duroch Islands group northwest of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located between Punta Lillo and Punta Hildegard in Covadonga Harbor .
Scientists of the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947-1948) named them after Víctor Lermanda Celis, who worked as a surgeon on board the Covadonga during this research trip .
